Unfortunately Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow which means we have another six weeks of winter. However there is a bright spot to this long, cold and dreary season The Philadelphia Flower Show! This will be held at the Philadelphia Convention Center from March 1-8. There are still plenty of tickets left so get off your couch and buy some tickets. This is always my favorite show to go to, I get to see what is new and up and coming. So get out there and get ideas as far as what you want your yard to look like this coming season.

- Mayfield Gardens was founded in 1939 by the Hoplamazian brothers, Joseph and Harry. Initially a small retail garden center and nursery, the business also offered landscape contracting. In 1974 Harry Hoplamazian, Jr. took over the business and expanded it into a commercial based landscape contracting company with locations in Newtown Square, PA and Upper Merion, PA. Three divisions now comprise the company: Mayfield Gardens, Inc., Mayfield Professional Maintenance and Mayfield Site Contractors. In an effort to promote our residential landscape construction and design capabilities, we have created this blog to keep customers updated on what we are up to and with the current events of our industry.
