Spring is just around the corner although it may not feel like that right now.
It's time to start getting ready to get out in the yard and spruce the place up. Rake up the left over leaves from fall, clean up any fallen branches from the winter winds and storms. Cut back any perennials or grasses that were left during the winter to provide some interest to the landscape in the winter. Prune shrubs that may have gotten unruly last year or may have had been a victim of the winter storms.

Flower Show
Unfortunately Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow which means we have another six weeks of winter. However there is a bright spot to this long, cold and dreary season The Philadelphia Flower Show! This will be held at the Philadelphia Convention Center from March 1-8. There are still plenty of tickets left so get off your couch and buy some tickets. This is always my favorite show to go to, I get to see what is new and up and coming. So get out there and get ideas as far as what you want your yard to look like this coming season.
